Hi my name is Derek. Im new to the forums but not new to the love of a mustang. I drive a 2004 Black Mach1 Mustang. Its completely stock other than I have some nice wheels on it and some pipes. Ill be the first to tell you I dont know jack crap about cars. Before I got my mach1 I owned a 2001 red v6 mustang and it just wasnt for me. So here is my problems.... I have a nice car. But as most would say it can always get better. I have no one in the Missouri area that cares to know a lot about mustangs or cares to help me out with this. I need ideas where to start and where to go with getting this thing on the charts. If anyone would be kind enough to "take me under their wing" and help me out that would be the greatest. Welcome. Well, you got many options. You can get gears (3.73,3.90,4.10), long tube headers with a shorty mid pipe, under drive pullies, cold air intake, throttle body, and those are pretty much the basic bolt ons. You can get more in depth by adding cams, ported and polished heads, roller rockers, and much more. Mustangs can be made the way you want them. What kind of horse power are you looking for? If you want alot you can ue a power adder like nitrous, supercharger, or turbo. Tell me what range your looking for and I can let you know better.
