Default Newbie - want to buy but from New Zealand, how to work out fees etc

Hi there
Sorry for the long subject line.
My wife and I are looking at coming the US again in a while, and we'd like look at buying a new Mustang, but are confused by all The fees etc mentioned when you look at prices.
I realise the MSRP is never really the price, and just want come clarification on all the other items that appear after the discounted price.
We re looking at purchasing, driving around the US for a month, and then shipping our Mustang back to New Zealand.
I've purchased a used Dodge Ram from Texas before and shipped that back, but have never bought new from the US.
Can some one please clears up a few questions for me?
1: re the discount off MSRP - do I have to register (title is the same?) the car to receive the discount?
2: do I have to pay sales tax if I am shipping the car out of the country? When I bought my Ram I showed the shipping papers that I had to the dealer and managed to avoid paying sales tax.
3: are there any other conditions on receiving the discounts?
4: re the other fees that the dealer applies (aside from sales tax); how much do they generally add up to? I read that you should add about ten percent? I mean things like documentation fees, title transfers, tags, freight, transport costs, emissions testing, - there just seems to be a huge list of extra fees?
5: if we purchased used from a dealer, do all the same fees apply?
6: if we purchased used from a private sale, is it just a straight transaction or are there other transfer fees as well?

We would be looking at purchasing in Arizona, Texas or Florida.

Many, many thanks to anyone who can give me some answers.

Regards
Fred

PS the car in my profile is my other baby, a 1975 Sunbeam Rapier Fastback. I also have an 03 Buell Firebolt tucked away in the garage.

First, you need to make sure that you can export a new car from the US to NZ. With many countries, only used cars that have previously been titled can be exported.

Private sale might be easiest and you might be able to snag a deal. Pay cash and get the title. That's pretty much it. I don't know how the shipping part would work. You'd prob know more about that than me. Anyway, good luck!
