cold air intake

I don't know about removing the cabin hose but I know you can take the baffles out if you want more sound. As for a CAI, if you go to AmericanMuscle.com and look them up, they tell you which ones need a tune and which ones don't. Hint: the ones that take a tune are supposed to work better (let in more air). Any of them can be used with a tune though.

welcome, and yes....for almost all the CAI's on the market you'll have to retune the car. I think there's only 1 or 2 on the market that do not require a retune....they are a waste.
as for the cabin hose...I'm not sure.

Welcome to the forum!
Most CAI will not void your warranty. There are several vendors on here who carry great cold air intake kits. I recommend buying one along with a tuner in order to get the most bang for your buck

As far as CAI's go I would recommend looking at Steeda. You can find them on AmericanMuscle.com they make some great intakes. The benefit of their CAI is it mounts into the same spot as the factory housing and uses the intake port behind your headlight. That way your forcing more cold air in, some of the others have this setup too but some do not use the intake port by the light. You will have to retune the car like they said above its a waste to get one that does not require a tune as the stoke CAI is really good.
CAI will not void warranty in most cases some dealerships might try to fight it if something goes wrong. Nothing to really worry about though. Ive changed out all my suspension on my car so that's not covered anymore because theirs really not a Ford factory part under there anymore.
But if your looking for performance gains that are pretty cheap CAI is the way to go. Along with a nice exhaust system.
