BMW fanboy no more!
Hello everyone. Let me start off by saying, I have always liked American Muscle cars (my first car was an 88 LX and our family had a 95 Camaro Z28) but I never thought I would buy one for myself. As much as I loved my BMW 135i, it was constantly in the shop. I would get something fixed, and then leave the shop to have another warning light. All of this would be fine if it were covered under warranty. I finally had enough and pulled the trigger this evening on a beautiful 2011 GT Premium 5.0. Wow! I am really impressed with this car! This is my first V-8 and first red car I have owned. I haven't taken any pics yet, but here are some from the dealer. Let me know what you guys think! Thanks!

I think you've obviously made the right choice! I've driven BMWs and Porsches (never owned, just had the chance to drive some here and there) and depending on the models they can certainly be fun, but they are a totally different feel from good old American Muscle. All other Ps being equal, power, price, performance, I'd rather have the American muscle than the Euro refinement...
So welcome to Mustangs and V8s. You're off to a great start with 400+ hp! The car looks great, odds are you'll never go back!

The thing I like most about that cars interior is the retro style round gauges for the speedo and tach. They almost take you back to the early years , lol ehh call me nostalgic ..

Thanks everyone. I took a nice long drive today and thought that this had to be too loud to be stock exhaust. I looked under and found there are flowmaster hushpower mufflers and also a C&L Intake! Two mods I was already going to do but I may switch up the muffler because there is noticeable drone at about 2k rpm.

Congrats and welcome, there is nothing that can equate to the feel of a Mustang.
Just wait till you get the urge to make mods to it and you hear it with muffler deletes, that really brings out the rage of that V8 engine.
