Default First Mustang

I recently bought a 2013 Ford Mustang Roush Stage 1. I immediately added Ford Racing's Handling Kit along with DBA rotors and Hawk pads. My previous car was a 2011 VW GTI Mk VI and while I still like the GTI, I've owned two, its nice to be back in a Ford. I've owned Fords in the past but they all been trucks. My only complaints so far are a few interior rattles, one in the dash and one in the passenger door, and a lack of storage. I saw that American Muscle has a trunk lid storage kit and am wondering if anyone has experience with this item?

At first I was not sure about the V6, I wanted more horsepower, but I recently drove my Mustang from Central Texas to West Texas and back (approximately 1,800 miles) and averaged 29 mpg. The much lighter GTI averaged around 32 mpg so I'm really happy in that regard. Additionally, by not having a turbo, I don't have to buy super unleaded. My wallet likes that!

Congratulations on your new Mustang! Definitely post up some pictures, we'd love to check it out. I'm glad to hear you're getting some great gas mileage and already starting modding your new Pony!

If you're looking for more storage, the trunk list storage kit is perfect. I run this in my 2011 GT and absolutely love it! I keep all my detailing products in there for shows and stuff, it's perfect.

Let me know if you have any questions or need some assistance in the near future!
