1st time in this forum - Introduction
Been on VMF for a long time, and just found this site through a link. Happy to find another site for sharing thoughts and ideas.
I have two 68 Mustangs, 1st a "c" code convertible with deluxe interior and Tach dash. It came as a 3 spd manual, but has been upgraded to a 4 speed toploader. Restoration is almost complete, just some trim items left. Mostly stock with upgraded brakes, wheels, exhaust. Looks good, sounds good, first ride coming this week as I just got plates on her Friday... Owned since 07 and never drove it, so I'm excited about it to say the least.
2nd car is a 68 "C" code being done over as a 67 Shelby Tribute. Big dollar / long time restoration due to buying one of the better cover ups your likely to find. Basically replaced 90 of the metal in the car. Will look like a GT 350/500 on the outside, with a lot of MTF interior parts... oh, and the plan is to hopefully to put the FRPP aluminum block 427 stroker in with an undetermined 5 speed. Probably gonna have o sell the vert when the time comes for that purchase
