I've been putting off the driveshaft test, but think I'll have to do it this weekend. That being said, it was my understanding that if the car was tuned for stock gears, if a higher gear is put in, the speedomoter would read slower than the GPS speed. I'm having the opposite problem. I will do this though so I know for sure what the gears are.
BTW - Thank you all for the help!

Since your speed sensor is within the transmission output, your speedometer will read much higher than the GPS if the gears have been changed to a higher gear (like 4.10's or 3.73's). It does seem that you most likely have a higher gear in the rear.
Regardless, you'll have to let me know how you make out after the DS test!

Finally an update on this... I'm all good now! Speed issue fixed. Played around with the Bama tuner to change the gear ration and with some trial and error, determined I have 4.10's in the rear. Now the ECU vs. GPS speed is ~1 mph off which is pretty darn accurate.
So far so good with the car in general (knock on wood)!
