Default Help! Buying a new mustang and need help

Hi I'm looking into this 2001 mustang it's a v6. I recently went and test drove it, everything runs fine except it needs a aligned and new tires on the front. Now my problem is that when I started to reverse it made a nasty grinding noise in the front right tire area. It does it when I'm accelerating from a stop too. The noise goes away after I begin to get up to around 5 mph. Could it bee a ball joint, wheel bearings? Or what? The noise stops when the car stops. Could getting the tires and aligning it fix the problem? Sorry if I'm not including something that I should be as this is my first post. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help

it sounds like you need front end work. Have a mechanic put it in the air and look at it. Balljoints, wheel bearings, tie rods, bent stuff are only cheap if you do the work yourself.

welcome

I'd definitely look into it before buying.

Have it checked before you buy. Good luck.
