Hello all.
First know that I am old (keep your Mustang of my grass you young whippersnapper).
The first car that I purchased was a 1965 fastback V8 Mustang. That was in 1965. In 1968 I took mine in for a repair and saw a Shelby GT 350 sitting in the show room. I traded my 1965 and drove the Shelby home.
I traded the Shelby in for a (I think) a 1972 Mach 1.
I have owned 4 or five Mustangs, three Vettes and other sports cars.
Lately I have been driving an SUV. Got tired of it and bought a lightly used 2013 GT. Has the cloth interior, but I got a good deal and it suits my elderly needs. Oh - it is a six speed. I missed rowing through the gears.
I look forward to talking to you folks about Mustangs. I am sure I will learn a lot.
Mike
