Brought home a new 2014 GT
Hello fellow mustang owners. Over the last 10 years or so I've ridiculed mustangs over and over and now I am mustang owner. Ive hated the car since i sold them back in 92. it was a sad dog of a car back then. And only until it went to 400+ hp have i gained any respect for it. I've always felt that the mustang was underpowered but was for some reason considered a "muscle car". I bought a new 2004 350z which i fell in love with...and still wish i could own the 370 today. But lifes circumstances do not allow me to own one (no back seat).
So I bought a black base GT for about 28k. Where else can you get this performance for under 30k? no where. my girlfriend loves and wanted the camaro, but i dont like chevy and the camaro was about 5k more than the mustang. she drives it to work and back and i drive everywhere else.
and i cant wait to get in it tonight when she gets home. I love that power.
So now....Let the mods begin. Audio is first, then a cai.
So now that I own a 5.0, i'm in love again. i'm hoping to have a great relationship with this vehicle.

Congratulations and welcome to the forum! I love that you're mind goes right to modding with a new car- I'm the same way. What are you planning to upgrade as far as audio? A full system or head-unit? Are you going to be tuning this car or using a non tune required CAI?
