New pony owner in Phoenix, AZ
So, I am Trey. When I was 16 years old (in 1985) I was at work and my dad called to tell me he just bought me my first car, and to come home to see it. I rode my bike the 1 mile home in record speed to find my dad in the driveway by a BEAUTIFUL 1967 red mustang convertible. I almost started to cry yelling "thank you SO much I love you".... He said "oh this? This is my new car your car is in the garage" he then opened the garage to show a 1970 VW beat up yellow bug..... Ever since that day I have wanted and dreamed of owning a convertible mustang.
That dream came true yesterday when I got a deal of a lifetime on a 2010 black GT convertible. I traded in my 2010 Ford Fusion for a great price and am now riding in style.
I look forward to reading your posts and getting to know you. If you are in Phoenix say hi! maybe we can meet up.

Congrats on the purchase! I was real close to pulling the trigger on 2010 base GT, but decided on a 2013 premium. When I am driving hard, I wish I got the GT. Other times when I am just cruising around I am glad I went with the premium.
I am also in the Phoenix area. Post up some pics and keep us updated with the mods. The first thing I would do is get some lowering springs. The stock ride height is horrendous. Send me a PM, I know a guy that will throw them on pretty cheap at his shop if you are interested.

I was going to lower my V6, put painted rocker panels on it, put gt front and rear fascia, and a few other cosmetic mods. shouldhavekeptthev6.
I think what I learned most is that brand recognition is a very bad thing. I could have swapped my mustang for a different brand of car and I would be like adios!
btw driving hard isn't fun at all. it is work, effort.. and it sucks.
