Default Help on '67 Mustang

Hi, so every time I walked past a house on my block I saw the old '67 mustang in the back covered up by a tarp. Yesterday they had a garage sale and I was so happy to see that they were putting the car up for sale. I have been buying and selling stuff for a while but wanted to get a big ticket item. I would have loved to keep the car but I just got a new car. They were asking $2500 for it but I got it for $1650. I am really new to flipping cars and I was wondering what you think I could get for the car. It is in okay condition, but there is a lot of rust. The car has also not been started in like 2 years because the key was lost. I cannot upload pictures so I will try to describe it. There are two small holes above the headlights where the rust ate out the metal. There is a lot of rust above the both the rear tires on the tire well. There is one small bubble by the right tail light. The undercarriage of the car is very rusted and supposedly it ate out some of the floor that is covered by carpet. The interior is in nice condition with only one small rip on the drivers seat. Everything in the car is 100% original. The car ran 2 years ago so I don't really know the condition of the internals. Like I said it has not been tested since. Any advice and feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Sounds like you got burned, it's only worth about $500, find some local guy that really likes Mustangs, and see if he'll pay you what you spent.
Good luck.

Sorry, I've gotta agree with AK ^^^

If the cars that rusted, original or not, you'll need to find a real Mustang nut to make any money on it. Pics would help but it sounds like a basketcase. Good luck and welcome to the forum.

I got agree with the others. This one doesn't really look like a flipper. Welcome aboard though.
