New to the Forum I do have a Question
The names Josh not used to the forum thing but my question is I have 2003 Mustang GT 4.6 SOHC. I had bought in November of 2012.
When I had bought it had the following mods.
Underdrive Pulleys, Polished Intake Plenum, 70mm Trickflo TB with Spacer, Steeda CAI.
Found the previous owner who said the car did have 4:10s a shift kit and 2800RPM stall. Also said they had sprayed the car with a 75shot only to manage Low13s.
I ran the car that following summer a few times and only Managed 14.0s-14.2s. @ 101mph avg.
Right before summers end the Torque Converter went out and I had replaced it with a new one from advanced that was 2600-2800 rpm stall.
A month later it spun a rod bearing. The car itself sat for about 6-7 mths before I finally fooled with it and replaced the Crank, main, and rod bearings.
Now since then the car feel like crap and very slow. It ran a 15.1 @ 96mph just because I wanted to see where it stood at in a years time. Ive recently lowered it and put 19in rims on the car. It did have 18in saleens. And it feels even slower. I was told it was all in my tune which made sense. so I spent the money and got a SCT BAMA tuner. Upon doing that I found that the cars previous tune was locked into the cars ECU. So my question is "is it the tune or something else, and if its the tune how the HELL do I Fix it??"
