Header and Gears

I have a 2014 v6 auto w/3:31. I want to add headers but which is better, shorty or long headers.I also plan on reprogramming with a sct x4 tuner,k&n.Would you recomend a 3:55 or is a 3:73 too much?

If you going to do them, I'd suggest longtubes....and with gears, 3.73.
