Moving to Vancouver from Down Under
Hello Everyone from the Land of Oz!
My name is Chris and I am a performance mehcanic from Australia. For 6 years of my life I have been turbo specialist mechanic that has specialised in working on working on an australian Ford engine that is locally referred to as the "Barra". This is an Australian built 4.0L inline 6cylinder that comes from ford in both a N/A and a turbocharged option. I have built these engines to reliably handle 1000+hp atw and being an honest daily driven engine.
I am moving back to Vancouver towards September 2015 where I am aiming to open a performance workshop specialising in Mustangs, doing everything from basic bolt on performance adders to complete engine conversions using the above mentioned engine which I will be importing into North America and providing full 'one stop shop' support and after service for.
The first car to receive the conversion will be my personal car that will priobably just be a 'New edge' stang as they are cheap and readily available. I will be on the forums a bit now and keeping everyone up to date with my plans.
here is a link to the above mentioned engine. This engine was put together by the old shop i worked with here in Aus and was built 10+ years ago. These days I can make 1000hp+ at the engine using the factory exhaust and intake manifold with the correct turbocharger bolted to it and supporting mods.

Vancouver, BC. I imagine that most of the users here are from the States but once the car is done I will be taking it to a lot of drag strips down the West coast.
