Just checking in.
Like the title says I'm new to the forum but not the planet.
I still have my first car a 66 coupe.
It's been sleeping for the last 13 years .
A few weeks back I brought it out of the barn.
42 miles in 13 years just doesn't seem right.
I've owned it 35 years . When I was 18 I dumped a lot of money into it .
Then again in my late 30's but after that not so much.
Allots changed in the last 20 years.
I'm looking for disc brakes for it.
I put them on the front 15 years ago but there wasn't really any good setups for the rear back then.
Any insight for the old geezer.
I see Wilwood ? Makes some kits for it now .
Any other suggestions? Tips? First hand experience with Wilwood set ups on the early 65-66 models?
It's a bit old school on the power plant.
Something out of a MAD MAX movie perhaps but like I said I'm old.
It's got a blown 302 in it with a big old 671 Hampton and (2) Holley 750's , a
9" rear end with 4-11's. She goes it's the stopping I'm worried about.
Anyway
Thanks for your time
Thanks for the great Forum
