Default Is it smart to restore my first mustang?

Hello, I am in between two sweet mustangs but both need their different TLC. I was hoping that I could get an opinion on which is the better one to restore for the cost and how much the estimate it would be to do the job. I have a very limited budget btw.

I truly beleive that you cannot do a restoration on a limited budget unless of course, you do the work yourself and get a big break on parts.

It's a given that as soon as you dive in, you'll find way more then obvious at first or even listed in the add. Body work and interior especially are not cheap and if you want it done right, you'll either save up or buy one that's already done.

I restored a truck once.. put a ton of money into it and sold it for a third of what I had into it.

+1 ^^^

Great advice there from Burk, exactly what I would have said.

Now your limited to just the first Mustang you posted a link for, the 2nd one sold already lol. Good luck in the decision, but can say, plan on doubling your amount you have set aside for restoring a car. It's always way more than you think.

Restoration and limited budget don't really go together. The unexpected will happen. Things will break.

It would be much smarter to save a bit until you can actually afford this undertaking.
