I just bought my 3rd fox. An 88 GT. scarlet red exterior with the same interior. Denys and dings outside but all there. Interior is immaculate! No rips anywhere. So I was told that the car ran great 3 years ago when it was parked. Said ok and gave the guy $800 for it. Great deal. Well I did get it to run. Dropped tank cleaned refilled. After a starter and other miscellaneous it fired right up. Ran like crap. Then I noticed a maf sensor under the hood. Looks stock but it's an 88. Wiring under hood is stock. So I remove the pass kick panel and what the snot? The comp is for an 87 tbird. Start checking the pins in the plug. Not right for mustang. So the harness seems to be tbird as well. I'm kinda blown away by this. Now that I think about it, engine could be tbird as well. Has ho upper intake. Spark plug wires on dist are ran for hi as well. And it ran like this. Not well but it ran. Tell me what you guys think. I'm kinda at a loss right now. Thanks.
