Default 03 mach 1 or 04 gt? help

Hi everyone I have a dilema. Both cars are the same price.

03 mach 1, yellow, 82k miles. It's had a new engine put in at 50k by the ford dealership. The seller has the documentation to prove this

04 gt, pewter, 60k miles.

I drove the mach it was fast which is what I want. The yellow while I'm not a fan of it is doable.
The gt is very well maintained. I'm driving the gt tomorrow. Haven't driven it yet.
This is not a daily driver as I have a truck and a motorcycle that I drive a lot more.
Any feedback would be helpful. I'm stuck between the two but I know the mach is a faster car, I'm just scared it's been beat on since the engine has been repalced. This is my 1st pony EVER!!!

22 K since overhaul, sounds nice to me, and you drove it and liked it and the power? right? so drive the GT and the decision is yours, it's all up to you sir

Yea I know that's what sucks. I'm not a muscle car dude at all. I just want something that will spin the tires if I want it to. I'm 40 yrs old and very seldom drive like that but I want it to be able to open up if I ask it to.
I 100% know the mach will do that, I felt it. I did crawl underneath the mach, no oil leaks.

In 13 I bought a brand new v6 challenger and I hated it after a week. Should of gotten a stang! I traded the challenger in on a truck this week and I have a little change to spend on a mustang. So I just don't want to make the wrong purchase again!! I thought 315 he was good. It was not. That penstar trying to move that tuna boat was WEAK!!!

if you dont intend to do any major engine mods, the mach is the way to go, its a bit rare, it has a 4 valve, and a factory shaker setup, and only 30k on a fresh engine. in the long run it will be worth more some day. but whatever u choose, you will have fun driving it.

Default :) Thanks everyone for the advice

Thanks everyone for the advice, but you know how that goes you give someone your opinion and they go do the exact opposite. I found a really good deal on a 2007 V6 convertible!!!!

SIKE! - I bought the GT. The owner had all of the service records he was the second owner and he's owned it since 27k miles. It's in really really good shape, not a single ding on it and I loved the color.

I punched the gas and squealed the heck out of the tires and it was everything I was after. So Yeah I finally own a MUSTANG. Since I was a a teenager I've wanted one of those things. I'm ecstatic. Now to start adding some pipes and other mods since I'm just not quite broke enough!
