Default Hello, new user with an older Mustang and a question

Hello to all you MF'ers. Boy, that one could be misconstrued. But I digress.

I've been in possession of an awesome Mustang for quite a while now, about 15 years. She is my second car and she sits in the garage a little too much. I start and ride her around the block often, but that's often the majority of activity- especially during Florida summers.

Now, I know you all probably get a lot of "what's my car worth" kinds of questions. Mine is not quite that.

See, I'm thinking of getting rid of her. I know that would break mine, and my father's, (he sold it to me) heart. But I think it would be a happier situation for her to be with a TRUE enthusiast... while being driven a bit more.

Here's the specifics:
Limited Edition 1992 5.0 LX convertible, red
Automatic
White leather interior
49,000 ORIGINAL miles
Great to excellent condition; engine strong - perfect running condition.
Tranny rebuilt about 8 years ago

I can post a picture if need be. But the question is, can I ever expect this thing to start appreciating in value, and if so, when might an approximation of that be? When it's 30 years old? I've had her for so long. Not sure if keeping or selling would be the right thing to do...

Thanks for any guidance you may have.

They built so many of these I doubt if it will increase in value all that much.

Only certain rare cars go up in value.

Welcome to the forum, good luck in the selling of it.

But as stated above, there's alot of them around. But if yours is a stock, unmolested example, that helps to alot of people in the market.
