My name is Mike and I recently purchased my first Mustang. Its a 2011 Mustang GT California Special. I had to do a manual of course because I just cant justify buying a automatic sports car, but to each their own.

My question is about aftermarket parts. I want to add an exhaust to it. I want it to be much louder. I'm looking for that deep growl that makes all Mustang owners smile when they hear it. The only thing I want to avoid is that slow rumble that always sounds like your car is about to die.

I have been looking into flowmasters, specifically the outlaw series and the force II. How do I know which sounds better in my opinion, if I have never heard them? Is there a way to hear them without going on youtube?

Welcome. Lots and lots of videos on YouTube of exhausts in lots of combos. Search there to get an idea.

Welcome to the forum Mike, and if YouTube is not an option, local car shows would be next.

Welcome and if you want a deep sound with no drone try looking for stainless works catback. I have the stainless works catback and love it. It has a sound that not many exhausts have deep and rumbly but not raspy. People always ask me what exhaust i have lol

Welcome Mike, I am a new member also. Still trying to get my bearings. Looking for any info on pricing for an 85 Mustang GT 5.0 convertible 5 speed, 4 barrel with low miles and mostly garaged.
