Default TB spacer intake spacer

Hey guys I recently bought a 94 gt I have a gt40 intake on its way to replace the factory 5.0 HO intake what my question is will a 1" intake spacer make a difference and will it fit under the stock gt hood. My other question was about a throttle body spacer are these worth the money? Do they make any difference? I've read that they make a difference on certain cars but on others they do nothing any help is appreciated thanks guys

the spacer is a great way to make your wallet lighter, it doesnt gain anything. the only applications that i find spaces useful on are carb setups....if the spacer is phenolic, and the only reason its useful there is that it prevents heat soaking the carb

Ok I appreciate your input I've never really dove into anything like this before and had no idea if it would make a difference the theory seems practical but I guess if it's stuffed under the hood it's gonna have heat soak anyway

Isn't this the second time that I've welcomed you to the forums? Always jwoog hit it dead on the head. I myself bought a TB spacer years ago and am still mad to this day. I just hate throwing away money. Do you have gears? Also welcome to the forums!
