New to me 2014 'vert...
Greetings, all,
I just picked up "The Silver Bullitt" Friday - a 2014 V6 convertible.
My first time seeing a Mustang was in '64, as an 8-year-old kid. I almost bought a rusted-out '66 when I was 19 but didn't.
My wife and I went on a trip to AZ back in 2013 and rented a V6 convertible. We loved it and were amazed that something with 300+ HP could get over 30 mpg. The car wasn't even broken in and we were driving 80+ mph on the highways in AZ.
I sold my 2002 Mazda Miata to get this car. Yeah, the Miata is a different type of car, entirely, but I love convertibles! This car will be the latest in a line of convertibles that have included a 1957 Bel Air (WHY did I sell this?!), 1966 Skylark, 1982 VW Cabrio, 1996 Miata M Edition and the 2002 Miata.
I decided that we needed something a bit easier to get in and out of - both for us and my 83-YO dad, who rides with me. The large trunk didn't hurt, either, nor the performance.
I'm looking forward to lots of years with this car.
