Default Exhaust upgrade need some advise

Hey guys, I'm thinking of getting this exhaust, it says it gains 30+ HP but I find it hard to believe.

GIBSON CATBACK EXHAUST W/ X-PIPE - FASTBACK - BLACK TIPS

Thanks for the input as always

Don't believe it despite what everyone tells you. If you were to dyno your car first and put mods on afterwards, you would find the claims are fairy tales. When you think about it, exhaust (30+), CAI (15+), tune (30-50+), etc, etc, you would expect a 435hp engine to put out 500+ hp afterwards. It won't. Having said that, all these mods added together might yield the highest claimed hp gain of the tune. IMO.

I checked a stock dyno and then a dyno after the exhaust was installed, there actually is an increase in HP

I watched the video and it didn't compare or prove anything that I could see other than the stock car put down 378 RWHP. The ad you posted claims the huge hp gain but doesn't prove it as far as I could see. I'm not saying you won't gain some hp, you have to with less restriction by removing the resonator. All I'm saying is the claims don't produce the results necessarily. Buyer be ware. The facts are that you can't really "feel" 20 or 30 hp gain and unless you are racing, you will never know the difference. I've proven that way too often with drive and rides.
