Hi I'm new here and Bella is my first Mustang and I love her!!! She definitely wont be my last pony. Anyways, right now she has a single magnaflow axle-back exhaust and at low rpms she sounds good but when i hit the gas, both in neutral and on the street, the sound she makes is too high pitched and sounds more like a suped up ricer than a mustang. Now before you V-8 guys start saying that a v-6 will always sound like a v-6 and bashing on me, im not trying to make her sound like a V-8. I just think that she should have more of a low rumble than a high pitched sound. I had a 4.0 I-6 jeep that sounded just as mean and beefy and had the same low growl as a chevy 350 so i know that it is possible to get a good deep sound from a v-6. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I have had people tell me to run dual straight pipes all the way with two mufflers, straight pipes into a single 2-in 2-out muffler with dual tips, and that I should just run another Y-pipe from the back of the muffler to dual tips. Help please.

I heard one 4.0 that had a bbk high flow catted x-pipe and pypes m-80 catback and it sounded pretty mean.
