So I'm scheduled to take delivery of my new 2016 GT Premium on Saturday morning and I'm beyond excited!!
This will be my second Mustang.. I sold my canary yellow 2002 GT after my second daughter was born.. Just couldn't bear installing another baby seat in the back of the car and didn't make (financial) sense to keep it if I wasn't going to drive it. Too sad! I've regretted it ever since!
So I pulled the trigger, found the exact GT I wanted and my dealer found it! I can't believe it. Thought for sure I'd have to order it and wait til June. So my question is.. I know alot has changed on the Mustangs since 2002. My old one was a five speed; the new one is a six. I got the performance package too... anybody have any tips for me? Break-in period? Exhaust sound? I installed flowmasters on my 02; am I going to need to do that on this one too? How about the driving modes- sport, track, power steering settings? How's the Shaker Pro Audio? The old Mach was kick *** so hopefully the Shaker Pro lives up to it.

Welcome to the family! Congratulations on your purchase, you won't be disappointed with it. Make sure to post some pictures when it arrives home. Any mods in mind? A lot of good info here regarding mods in case you are thinking of doing any. Check out some of the garages and you may get some ideas.
She's home!! Picked up on Friday afternoon. Now I just need the weather up here in Michigan to cooperate so I can actually break her in.
I'm for sure going to tint the windows and install a Flowmaster exhaust; thinking American Thunder is what I'll get. Aftermarket intake too, but need to stop the (financial) bleeding for a bit first! I'll check out the garages you mention for additional ideas. Thanks for the tip!
