Hi Everyone,
I just joined the forums today, I have been reading a lot of the posts here and really enjoy the site.
im wondering if I can get some advice on tires, I have searched the forums and found lots of info but nothing that relates to my question.
I have a 2007 GT premium, and I think it has 18" wheels on it. the factory 5 spoke polished aluminum ones. id like to put wider tires on the back, but the guy at the tire shop said my 255/18 tires are the widest that fit that wheel. A friend of mine said I can put 275's on there but I read somewhere it looks bad as the tire is too wide.
would 275's work on my factory wheels?
any advice would be greatly appreciated.

oh well I guess I will go to some other place and hopefully at least someone might acknowledge my existence by telling me to go away.

Welcome to the forum.
Any idea how wide the 18" 2007 GT premium wheels are ??
Once you have this info, you can go to a site like TireRack, select a tire & look @ the specs.
For a given size, say 255/40R-18, there is a recommended wheel width range, for this tire, 8.5 - 10"
For a 275/40-18, it would be 9 - 11"
