New to the group
Hello everyone,
I just agreed upon a 1989 GT and will take possession on Thursday. It is in decent condition but will need a lot of TLC. I hope to draw on everyone' experience as I go through the process.
This is my fourth Fox and 9th Ford overall. I have had a 1987 (1st car LX), 1992 (2nd car GT), 1993 (? a lot in between, GT convertible). I tried to leave the family but I still find myself being pulled back to Ford. Currently my garage is 2014 Taurus SHO, 2014 Escape and 1989 GT.
I will post pics soon.

Picked this up a few weeks ago. Similar to what I had in HS (that should tell my age). Would have gotten something to work on more but at this point I figured to let someone else do the work so I could enjoy it. Have a few things that I want to do but overall whoever restored this did a great job. I understand all fo the body panels are original and no bondo I could find. And a great modern two part paint job. Transplanted 302 with C4 Auto, Edelbrock manifold and 4 bbl, stainless exhaust, all stainless fuel and brake lines, headers, electronic ignition and mild cam. Runs pretty good. I will be posting some questions on a few 'best way to do this' for some of the other improvements I want to make. A few more pictures in my album. Will put more out when weather gets better up here and I get back out of storage where it is now while we still have 'winter'.
