I'm in the market for a new car. I have a company vehicle but am looking for a recreational vehicle to drive every now and then. Definitely was a V8 and manual transmission. Looking to stay around 15K in price. Will I be disappointment with the 05-10 4.6 power versus the 11 and newer 5.0?

I am finding most of the 11+ are 20K and up. I have found a couple closer to my price range but they have higher mileage.

Should I wait and save up some more to purchase an 11+ or would I still enjoy the 05-10?

11+ GT all the way if you can make your budget work.

They are all a blast to drive, especially with a standard. You give up some power with an 05 to 10, but I think the 05 to 09 makes up for it with the old school looks, and a few simple bolt ons, and a tune, wake the 4.6 right up.

I might be slightly biased, as I have an 07.
