I'm Mike from Phoenix AZ area. I used to own a 67 fastback that I bought already modified. I loved it. 289 ramped up to about 360hp. 411s in the differential and L60s on the back. It was quick, very quick, until I hit 70mph or so and I topped out! haha

Anyways, I had to sell it due to 9/11, but I ended up buying a new 2006 GT hardtop. The only thing I ever did to it was put Flowmasters on it. I still own it to this day, though it is finally showing signs of age.

I have a slip going into 3rd gear now, I think I have ruled it down to a solenoid that is just acting up. It did it once before, then stopped. I am sure the band is fine.

But now I am dealing with fan blower issues that I have posted elsewhere. I'll get it fixed soon enough. I love my GT and I hope to see it turn well over 200k in miles. It still hauls @#$$, just have to pamper it now and then.
