Default Finally got my dream car

I have wanted a car like this since before I could even drive, and finally I have it! 2017 GT Premium with a 6-speed and a Roush supercharger. It also has the Roush axle-back exhaust. It sounds as good as it looks. This car is unbelievable! Here is what I can tell you about 670hp, from a guy that has never driven anything with half this much power:
I almost never use 1st gear, and if I am not careful it will try to turn the tires on dry pavement in 2nd gear if I am turning at takeoff.
With the price of tires, I'm not a burnout guy but I believe this thing could literally burn the tires off. I do not intend to test this theory.
It will break the tires loose at 30mph. Not by shifting or any tricks, but with raw acceleration.
In a way, it is a blessing that I could not afford this car until I was 51. My 25 year-old-self may have been dangerous with this much power.

Man does this car make driving fun again!

Congrats on your purchase, you've made a great choice and your Stang looks beautiful! Any fun performance mod plans for it?

Thanks! No upgrades at this point. But I’ve only had it for a month, so maybe as I settle in. It’s a fantastic car as it is, but I have already noticed the stock shifter isn’t terribly smooth under pressure. So maybe that’s a future upgrade.

Welcome to the forum, congrats & good luck with your " dream " car.
Sounds like you need some suspension work or better tires..

Default 1st. mods

Farmed out! Do BMR CB005 & 006 for the launch and the twisty's! Tires are a great help as well.

Looks great. Love the look of the new mustangs. Would get one but don't want payments or high insurance payments. Good luck with it.
