Default Rims and tires for 67 Mustang with explorer rear

Need help from people who've swapped in Explorer rear.
I am replacing the axle assembly in my 1967 Mustang coupe with a 2000 Explorer axle
assembly (8.8 inch with 3.73 ratio) that is 2 inches wider (flange-to-flange) than original equipment.
It includes disc brakes. I want to put widerwheels on the back than the front. I am looking at the TORQ
Thrust D 15"x 6" with +4 offset for the front with P225/60R15's. I am thinking
TORQ Thrust D 15" x 8" with 0 offset for the back. With the axle
assembly 1" longer on each side, can I put the wider rims and wide tires on? Or do I
need to order rear wheels with offset and/or slimmer tires? Appreciate your experienced suggestions.
