New Here from East TN
Hey Y'all. I've owned my 2008 GT for about 2 years now, but am new to this particular forum. A little back ground:
I grew up in Tx, and my first car was a 65 6 cylinder coupe (pic attached). I got it (34 years ago) as a rough driver and my father and I restored it. I had that car for about 10 years after high school......
Fast forward another 20 years and I was getting the old Pony Itch again. I bought my 08 GT with 76K miles on it, and have added about 30K to that total in 2 years. The previous owner had installed UCA/ and LCA's, a C&L intake, and a few other odds 'n' ends. Since I've owned it, I replaced the muffler delete pipes with GT500 mufflers (neighbors say "thank you"), got a Brenspeed tune, and also added 14" 4-pot Brembos (better braking feel on the East TN mountain roads.....plus, they better fill out the 19" wheels from a 2012 the PO installed)
