Default Advice on a 2008 buying decision

I’ve been waiting to find a low mileage 2006-2009 V6 manual transmission Mustang and I’ve finally come across one.
I found a used 2008 V6 manual transmission with really low miles - just under 39,000 miles on it. It has a clean car-fax too. They're asking just under $10,000 for it.

Does that sound like a good deal, and what things should I be wary of or should I check out prior to making a purchase decision?

Thanks for any input.

That's quite high to me. Manual is worth a lot less also.

GT maybe but not a v-6.

What options does it have??? Leather, Shaker 500 or Shaker 1000?

Car is 10 years old now.

Just my 2 cents whatever that is worth.

KBB for a deluxe, not premium, is $8500-9 from a dealer. Not knowing the options, $10K is high. If from a private party, ask if you can have it checked over by a mechanic you trust. Probably cost $50. Otherwise just really look it over for signs of repainting or rust. Chances are it is a pretty good car with those miles. Offer $8500 and settle on $9K or whatever you're comfortable with.

Honestly doesn't sound like a great deal to me. I've been trying to sell my '06 GT for a couple months now, granted through a snowy winter, for $10,000. It's also an auto and has 82,000 miles, just for a benchmark to compare.

That car will definitely suffer from the "most expensive house in the neighborhood" syndrome. I suspect that it will sit on the market for awhile, and the price will come down after a month or so, and they'll be more willing to negotiate after some time.

I got a 2008 V6 with 102,192 miles for $5813, down from $8900 (dealer).
They had to replace the cluster, bad temp gauge.
They did a trans service.
Diagnosed the radio, CD changer doesn't work, common I see...

They did front suspension work to pass inspection, and all new brakes and rotors.
New air filter, but they did not fasten the air box lid, it was open...

Not sure if it's a Deluxe or Premium, when I run the VIN both have come up.
No ABS or TCS.

There is no RPO code sticker either.

Most if not all premium have leather interiors so I'm guessing a deluxe model.

Premium come with leather, abs. tcs, Shaker 500, 5 speed auto.

Better rims with more polish and spinners.

My window sticker says polished rims, and spinners, whatever they are.

I always get the weird ordered cars...

I do not have leather seats, no ABS and no TCS... So, that generated by VIN
window sticker can't be right...

Thanks for all of the input. I ended up getting a wonderful deal on a one-owner 2005 windveil blue GT with tan leather interior and under 48,000 miles! I love it!
