Sounds like you need a Hyrbid daily driver and then use this as the weekend driving around for fun. Helps to keep the miles off the mustang as well. I have a 2002 mountaineer as a daily driver. I think the mustang gets better mileage then the suv. but i live in the snow belt and don't want to drive the mustang around on roads that are salty.
The long term plan for this Mustang, keep it for 2 years then move on. I always wanted a Mustang and I'm having fun with it now...but eventually I'll get tired of filling the tank every Friday.
