is this 1998 GT worth $575

https://www.copart.com/lot/26974578 It's a copart buy it now price. it has 198k miles and i am guessing there would be around 300 dollars in fees as well. so by the time you have it you would have 875 or so into it.

Hard to tell how extensive the damage is from here, but it looks like a good deal so far. If you're lucky, maybe the front bumper cover was just ripped away by backing out over something.

Only other thing that really sticks out to me here is that the car appears to have a manual transmission, despite what the listing says about it being automatic.

By the time I got home and saw your message it sold. it even had a clear title.

D'oh, I totally overlooked the sale date too. Well, bummer.

The damage on that would have been easy...

I have rebuilt the front end on my Jetta cars three times, now, and only the last time
did it cost me over $875, because all three rad support items were smashed, and the
rad support.

Last time, $600, and it needed a fender and a hood too.

Time before that, just the bumper cover and plastics, under $400.

Got all my parts on eBay.

Insurance company wrote ME the checks, and I did it myself. I made
well over $6000 doing it myself, 2/3rds of that money bought me the '08 Mustang
I now have.

Got a check for $4700, paid just under $1000 doing it myself.
