Default 2018 buying advice

Looking at purchasing my first brand new Mustang. All four prior were used. What’s considered a decent deal? Currently looking at about 6K off a 53K MSRP. I’ve read some people say you can get up to 8-10K off, but not sure I believe that.

Thanks!

I doubt anyone is getting more than 6K off and I'm not sure I believe that. They seem to be selling pretty well in my area. A good deal is what makes you happy and the dealer happy. Join the MCA and get employee pricing plus any rebates for the best deal.

Patience was the key. When I initially told them my offer they just chuckled. A week later they contacted me and accepted. It's not my first color choice (silver), but after driving it I was hooked. Was also looking at a BMW M240i. BMW can't believe I am picking the Mustang over the M240i - especially since the Mustang payment will be a fair amount higher.

We got $7300 off 52350. 401a’s were in lockdown with gauge issue and they lowered price severely online. Dealer advertised on Facebook that price on line was price in store, I called them on it when they attempted to raise price when car came off recall . We felt sorry for them and wife gave back $880 on wherl snd tire insurance and nitrogen. I tried to tell her not to get it but she wanted the assurance that if she scrubbed a wheel and ruined an expensive tire that she was covered without insurance or out of pocket on the rim snd tire

Very nice Warmongoose! The orange is growing on my, but wife hates it. Great deal - but I think $47K on the $53K MSRP is the best this dealer will do. I've been waiting them out for three weeks now.
