Found a good deal on a 04 mustang GT but its been sitting for two years
the exact post description stats " 2004 Mustang GT. 5spd. No cats so won't pass emissions. Was a daily driver before I upgraded and the car has literally been sitting for two years. No major problem other than those of a 14 yr old car that had been sitting. Price firm so please don't ask. " I'm not worried about emissions because my state doesn't have emission laws. The cars priced at $1700 which is a really good deal. I would be daily driving this car and would probably have to drive it home which is about 200 miles. though towing isnt out of the question. Also a good note would be that the interior is in great shape judging from the pictures and the exterior wasn't so bad ether.

Check the rear end for all that rust. From the bumper all the way to the fuel tank,
sub-frame and uni-body. They are notorious for rust, to the point where the tank
falls out.
My son got a 2002 with 130,000 for $2700, rust is manageable back there now,
but if he don't get on it, it will be a rotted corpse in a year. Only thing I had to
do was put a new thermostat in it. It was WELL maintained, owned by a police
officer, garage kept for the most part. I noticed the new valve cover gaskets
immediately. Interior was immaculate, will my son got it... I was going to
buy it, but the MPG was too low for my liking, so he took it. Though, he's
making the payments on the credit card I used to buy it at 0% for 15 months...
As long as the Rust is manageable, and it runs, $1700 is fantastic, for a 2004?
Hell yeah, so, what's wrong with it? $1700 for a car that can fetch $3000, should
raise some concerns. If it was sitting OUTSIDE, I'd crawl all underneath it...
