1968 Mustang GT Convertible
Have had the car a few years, last week driving just quit electrically on the road, 35 minutes started up ran OK, has happened 3 times.. Getting a new 12V20 amp circuit breaker, Problem started when was trying to get cigar lighter working, have since disconnected.. Any thoughts, next would be coil, or light switch. tommg

Retired from FORD 1996 as Senior Powertrain Engr at Lorain Assy, 7 years there, 12 years at Cleveland Engine #1 home of the 5.0L. Ran the Quality Control dept, 4.9L and 5.0 L engine assy lines for 12 years. 5 years at Engine Engineering QC staff, 5 years at Dearborn Engine home of the FE 330-428 cu inch running hot test ,engine repair, and shipping. Mech Engineering education, born and grew up in Detroit. Consulted with Ford for 7 years after retirement, fixing engine designs around the world. Current cars, are 1935 fully restored cabriolet, with updated flathead. !967 Shelby GT 500 fastback dual quad, purchased from original owner with my son. 1968 GT Shelby 350 convertible, 2006 Ford GT, my daily driver is a 2008 Shelby GT 350 convertible.. Living 25 miles south of Myrtle Beach SC, you MUST drive a convertible. I will be 80 in January 0f 2019. tommyg
