Hi there all. I bought this blind online in 2015 , car turned up - bag of rot . It's a 4 speed manual 289 on a Holley set up, but according to the VIN, it was originally a 6 Cyl Auto

Lots of time and dough, it's looking good here in the UK ( Colour was a woman's choice ), have a couple of running issues, need to change the rear springs , from what I read to ' 5 Leafs ' , any recommendations ? Also, the car has an annoying habit of ' lurching ' , sort of kicking back as you drive it at about 20-40 mph , dangerous too. My restoration yard said the kicking back was a loose vacuum pipe.. they fixed it . I collected it back today, hey presto drove good for 15 mins , then started again. So, any advice ? Finally, should I upgrade the thin looking exhausts , they look bad, rust coloured though no holes. What would be the nicest for sound and max power ?

Next post I will bore you with how I bought a Brake Booster specifically for manuals from a well knows US supplier , arrived here eventually , did not fit, too long for the space available. . Sent it back, big hassle to get money back. Would like to name and shame the suppliers...
