Default F-ing speed shop!

I have a 302ci with a 5.63 lift cam, 116degrees of duration. With 350lpm fuel pump and 70pound injectors. It’s also has a vortech supercharger (8psi at 4200rpm) and a 90mm maf along with studded heads and all the bolt one you can think of. Problem is that after it came home from the speed shop that did some of the work it’s been acting like it has head gasket issues... air pumping into the cooling system after motor is at opp temp, overheating when driven for awhile, condensation in the oil sump, front and rear seals leaking oil (brand new motor FYI) and to top it off 5 of 8 plugs are wet. #8 cylinder looks almost like it’s never fired. Please help! I’m a crew chief for a local race team that knows his way around a chevy motor but was raised ford.

Welcome!

Quite a list of issues there. When you say that air is getting into the cooling system, I suppose that the water level is dropping too. Are you sure it was thoroughly bled? Now that you mention Chevy experience, it might be worth mentioning that these are a little trickier to purge the air out of. You kinda have to just do the best you can and then let the engine burp itself over the next couple of heat cycles. Jacking up the front can help too.

As for the oil seal leaks, have you checked the PCV system?

Default Checked all that.

The cooling system has been properly bled and the PCV is fine with an oil sump in-line.

You might be right about a head gasket then. I take it you've already checked for external leaks?

No external leaks. I’m gonna do a leak down test and see what happens.
