I finally shed my 2008 BMW 335xi and got a new 2018 GT. I've had it for about 15 hours now and I'm going to drive it to Ft Worth this afternoon for the weekend.

So I'm a new member to this forum. Looking forward to getting and giving info and advice.

My plan is use this car as an occasional daily driver and I plan to track it 5-10 times per year.

I'm currently planning an upgrade path to make it more trackable.

I got the Premium package. over time ill migrate towards the components of the performance package.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but i think the brakes are going to be my biggest limiting factor as it sits today.

I take it you didn't get the performance package with the bigger brakes, suspension, and exhaust upgrades. Bummer, those make the GT a formidable track car just like it sits. By the time you add track packages, you will have spent what it would have cost to get all the goodies in the first place and with a warranty to boot. It is really hard to improve on the Ford Racing packages that come with the car and I would look to Ford Racing for your upgrades.
