Hello from Southwest Missouri! I have a 1985 Mustang GT back! I had the Oxford White with black trim GT (with T-Tops) from about 1987-1990 and have wanted one ever since. I bought one! It's a bit different but it's back in the garage!

I need some advice as I get this one back up to "speed." This vehicle only has 7,160 miles on it. It has the original Goodyear Eagle Gatorback tires still on it. I have the original owner's manual, operating guide, maintenance schedule and original Ownercard, warranty identification card. This was a one owner vehicle.

Advice: What additional maintenance / preventive actions should I take to revitalize this GT? I understand the obvious (tires, oil, coolant, brake fluid, etc.). The car was garaged. The hoses are still soft and the serpentine belt has no obvious cracking in it. Should I go ahead and replace the hoses and serpentine? What else?

I appreciate any advice you would share!
