Gonna Buy a 2016 Cobra
I am just doing some research. I live in Ohio. I'm looking at this guys mustang for sale--just trying to see if he's jerking me on the price. Here is what I know. First off the car is IMMACULATE Condition. Swear it was like kept in a velvet garage. Very low miles--under 10k
GT 350 Shelby Cobra
2016
I think he said it had the Technology deal package.
Lots of little extras making it look pretty.
Also said there were like only 3,000 made-- I think
Anybody have any guesstimates. He said he paid $60k for it.
Can you point me in the right direction? Thanks.

$60,000 used? That's about what he paid for it...
2016:
6,169 total GT350/R Mustangs were made, 526 of those were GT350Rs.
5,643 GT350s with 3,814 of those equipped with the technology package (969 of them
in Oxford white) then the remaining 1,652 of them have the track package.
So, 3,814 with technology package, 969 of them were Oxford White.

If you do buy it please don't call it a "Cobra". It isn't a Cobra - it is a Shelby GT350.
Ford hasn't made a Cobra in several years. The Cobra name isn't being used by Ford right now, last one was in 2004. There never was a "Shelby Cobra" from Ford. The Ford Cobra was just that, a Cobra with no Shelby name on it.
KBB.com says a private party value is about $46,000 for a 2016, with 10,000 miles and the technology package. That is what a lender will look at to determine how much to lend against the Shelby.
And looking at autotrader.com for 2016 Shelby GT350's, that seems to be within the range of prices with dealers getting a little more but still near $48,000. The GT350R is going for more, that is a rare package and only 2 show up at dealers within 200 miles of my search.

Best you can get is the Shelby Super Snake; or Cobra Jet, which is a different car...
They can still have the Snake emblem, and some even did and do, even though they were
not Cobras. The GT500s can get the Emblem since 2007.
The SVT Cobra (as said, Cobra not used since 2004) was succeeded by the 2007 Shelby GT500.
I will never make a mortgage payment on a car...
