Default Newb from CHICAGO

Hello everyone!!! I just joined but I have been surfing for some time. I dont own a mustang but I want to SO BAD! I am in the process in looking for a 95 GT / Cobra and up! It must be manual and near Chicago. So if anybody know of any please let me know thanks.

Another newb question. I was offered a 96 GT 4.6L Mustang for $3,000. The catch is it needs a new clutch. Do you think its a good buy yes or know. And how much would it cost me to get a new clutch on that car? Please help out!

THANKS

Hey, welcome to the forums. To answer your question, if the only thing the car needs at all is a clutch for only $3000 do it for sure! When my clutch needed to be done in my 96 GT it only ran me about $800 with parts and labor, and that was for a stage 2 racing clutch! Stock will run you cheaper for sure. But you got to factor in milage and overall condition of the car. But personally, I'd do it. If you have any more questions lemme know.
