Default Thinking about entering the world of rwd...

Hey everybody, I'm Brian and I'm from VA. Currently I have a 2002 Pontiac GTP (Supercharged), It's quick but I'm thinking about getting into the mustang scene. I'm working on a tight budget, pretty much trade in value on my car, and found this mustang on autotrader (link below). I think I'm gonna go look at it soon and I was wondering if you all could give me some advice on what to look for, etc. Also, Does anyone know if a RWD v8 is gonna give me problems in the Richmond area? We get snow and I'm a decent driver but the snow is never much. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Brian

Rear drive isnt impossible to drive in the snow, you just have to know how to control the car. Front wheel drive sucks, I'd rather oversteer than understeer. A stick car is actually better in the snow than an auto because you have the clutch to control tires spinning. If you get it, you wont be dissapointed.

i have an auto 93 fox, obviously rwd... and it snows a decent amount here in NY and my car is very light, rear wheel drive, and automatic trans, im 17 and havn't had any problems with it in the snow, u hafto go slow on some hilly areas and be careful but if you know how to drive and you have experience then there shouldn't be any problem

I personally feel safer driving RWD in poor conditions. I know how to handle it better than FWD. All you have to do is get used to it.
