1969 with a 460
Ive got a 69 sportsroof with a 460 dove under the hood which creates abit of a problem with clearance. Soon ill be installing CJ valves. Ive got a boss9 hoodscoop but I still need to loose about an inch just to get the hood to fit. Im currently using a weiand stealth intake and am thinking of changing it out to lower the Holley 750VS carb down in order to get the hood to fit. Ive already changed the air cleaner to a drop style and still need clearance. Any suggestions?

Nice setup, if you cut the proper hole for the scoop you should have no problem. Look at my pics to get an idea. Pics at : www.1969boss429.com
