Mustang Makover
I bought a 1991 mustang lx about 2 years ago wanting to swap the drivetrain to a v8. The car is from South Carolina so it has barely any rust, perfect for a donor chassis. I bought a freshly rebuilt 306 with a mild cam, an Aod tranny with a shift kit, and a 8.8 rear end with 3.08:1 gears and 28 spline 5 lug axles. For the front I bought sn95 spindles and hubs, ford racing lower control arms, new stock springs and struts for the time being. I bought an A9P computer, and soon i will be getting a chip for it. The interior was changed to classic black, and i have reverse glow gauges, billet a/c ***** and billet door handles. For the wheels i have 1998 Mustang GT Premium 17x8 wheels. I hope to be getting some pics up soon after i get it painted. let me know what you think, of if you have any suggestions.

RE: Mustang Makover
A few days ago i bought an intake from ebay, its a performer. i paid 250 for it, but i think im gonna let my brother use it on his 89 gt. his is a bit seasoned with 198,000 miles, LOL. Hey it still runs like a raped ape, keeping in mind the motor and tranny were never rebuilt. it keeps up with most. I also have a question one of you might be able to answer... the starter switch/solenoid under the hood on the drivers side fender, mine keeps shorting out so the starter runs all the time even when the key is out. what causes that? its driving me crazy, and i dont want to mess any parts up espicially since the starter and flexplate are brand new. if anyone can tell how to fix this please tell me. Thanks in advance!
