AA3 is coming along nicely, albeit still very bugged and badly pre-launched. I say give it 3 months and the game will be vastly better based on their efforts already. Just a thought for future reference.

Installing AA3, I haven't ever played AA either.

The interface needs serious work and a good overhaul in many respects, and some things are buggy and glitchy. Sounds are good and odd at times depending on the situation. Grenades need to be tweaked because the throw timing takes way too long after physically clicking the mouse (not that throwing a heavy grenade should be instant, but you get the idea).. I personally have crashing issues every 5 minutes so it's nearly unplayable to me. Once they get things thoroughly worked through it will be a solid tactical FPS like the first one was.

I think it will come out good, but the bad launch really didn't help it at all. Might be some time before it starts filling in, for obvious reasons.

Added.

Yes, it is complete trash. I doubt they could make it a decent game- there are way too many bugs. I couldn't complete the FIRST training mission. Clock is wrong, and I cannot pass. Crouch/prone/stand animations are screwed, etc.

+1, AA3 sucks...

I tried playing it for an hour; movements lag when I am getting a decent frame rate(40-50's,) buggy as heck, and it crashes every 20 minutes or when I start a new game... I can't believe they thought this game was ready for retail...

They will get it. You have to understand the poor launch is what really did it in. They'll get things fixed, but they have a ways to go before it's comfortably playable without being frustrated with issues. Give it time; their support team is actually very good.

+ Ktown, they didn't think it was ready. It's called deadlines, and every game has them. AA3 took a long while, and their time for launch period simply took too long.
