I didn't visit any sites, that what google said. so if that is the case then they get less snow.

edit: I edited my post using a website instead of whatever nonsense google finds.. and switched all to cm. but yeah.. that storm dumped only 6-12 inches(15-30cm) in most areas, few places got more than 24"(60cm)..

That would be a typical bigger storm here. a lot of storms will dump 30cm in town and then just outside it will be 120cm.

yep.. biggest temperature swing in 24 hours happened in Loma, MT, just north of Great Falls... it rose 103 degrees from -54 to 49. (-47C to 9.4C) That's a world record. If you drive through there they have a nice little restaurant there.. ma's cafe, across the street from pa's station... ate there last week, it was great.

weather can completely change in a day.
